In an age where magic and technology have allowed for travel among the stars, a rescue ship is sent to an uninhabited aquatic system and find it might not be as empty as they’d thought.
The ragtag crew of the SS Revelation is sent out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of several scouting vessels to the planet Hadal 20,000 and its moons. Their ship is ambushed and they become marooned on the planet, until they're picked up by the enigmatic Captain Arcturus and his vessel, the Stargazer. Together they travel Hadal while Arcturus’ sanity deteriorates. The surviving crew members must find their way to the scouting vessel’s crash sight they’d been searching for if they have any hope of surviving the planet, or their new foe.
